First Alarm signs on as new I-View Now dealer.
First Alarm has been protecting businesses and homeowners for more than 40 years and is now one of Northern California’s premiere commercial and residential security providers. Through growth, experience, and acquisition, First Alarm has become a name widely recognized for safety and dependability.
First Alarm owns and operates its own 5-Diamond Central Monitoring Station in Aptos, California. Their Central Monitoring Station has been certified by Underwriters Laboratories (U.L.) in accordance with the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) requirements. When an alarm is triggered, I-View Now’s technology sends a video clip link to live view the cameras and pre-alarm event clip to the central station’s software and end user (via PC or cell phone). Universal Monitoring has been monitoring video since 2008 and they currently hold a .06% false alarm rate. With some false alarm rates as high as 99% in some cities, this is a major accomplishment!
